The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 & 2 will begin filming late in September this year, and new crew calls for the first movie have been announced, in addition to the ones we posted about in early June. Access Atlanta posted official crew calls, which included some filming location tips as well.
“Mockingjay’ will actually be split into two movies, sort of like the endings of the “Harry Potter” or “Twilight” franchises. Look for Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland and the rest of the Gamers to return to town soon. We’re told location scouts have been up in the north Georgia mountains searching for suitable filming locations. Last time, locations included the Swan House, Goat Farm Arts Center, Georgia World Congress Center and Marriott Marquis. Who knows, they might pop up there again.
Email your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org to apply for work on “Mockingjay Part 1.” May the odds be ever in your favor.
If you’re in or around Atlanta and have film crew experience, this is a great opportunity. Do send in your resumes!
Brief synopsis for the two-part finale of The Hunger Games franchise:
